INTRODUCTION

Interconnecting Radio Communication at different districts  with the State Control Room HQ using the Radio Over IP Gateway (RoIP) System over the IP Backbone (Public Internet/ VPN/ State GSWAN). ROIP System allows us to monitor and communicate with radio users (PRVs, DCR, etc) in different districts of the State from Main Control Rooms and District Control Rooms. It allows integration of both voice as well as data communication between the radio users with other communication technologies.

CALL FLOW

Use Case –

In case of MDT, Mobile Network at PRV not available, Call Dispatch to PRV will go through ROIP

• Dispatch Event Created

Nearest PRV is identified but MDT, Mobile Network is not available for Voice Dispatch.

• RoIP Radio Selection

Dispatcher opens the RoIP Dispatch Screen and selects the RoIP District for Dispatch.

• Radio Frequency Selection

Dispatcher will select the Radio Channel/ Frequency for Call Dispatch on Radio

• Selective Radio Call

Dispatcher will select the PRV Vehicle and make Selective DMR Voice Call for Event Dispatch

• Send Event Message

Dispatcher can also send Event Details to PRV on Radio through DMR Text Message
